Bride Custom in Poland

A conventional Polish marriage used to be a three or perhaps four evening matter. Often, it was held outside in parks, trees and barns. They were a celebration of life and the reward of dynamics. Now, however, many couples choose to forgo the church and basically have a meeting in their residence or backyard with close family and friends They also enjoy the tremendous meals, songs and vodka but it’s not quite what it once was.

On the evening sexy eastern-european models of the ceremony, just before midnight ( or around it if a one- evening bridal), comes the popular festival known as “oczepiny”, the debut of the bride. At this point, the mask is removed and she dons her czepek – a cover worn by Polish maidens to reflect their standing as engaged ladies. This is also when the extended tresses are unbraided and cut brief, as a symbol of her transition from boyhood to woman.

As the pair leave the church, guests wash them with pennies and particles, to give them luck and prosperity. They subsequently change into their party outfits. It is also standard to chuck small, circular coins into the woman’s hair– whoever collects the most will remain in charge of their finances.

The group begins, and you’ll find a lot of dancing going on. Poles feel that this reduces the side effects of too much eating. There will be a lot of food very, including lots of different kinds of sweets, sweets and ice cream.
